May, 2002

The O'Brien Brothers performed "Tears and Towers" at The National Concert Hall in Dublin, Ireland to an audience that includes the President of Ireland, the American Ambassador to Ireland, and many other dignitaries.

April, 2002

The O'Brien Brothers moved back to Dublin, Ireland from San Diego, California.  They gave an amazing farewell performance at the Blarney Stone on April 6th.  The O'Brien Brothers will be greatly missed in Southern California.

The O’Brien Brothers were awarded the highly acclaimed worldwide “Certified Honorable Mention” for their song “New Generation” from the John Lennon songwriting contest. – July 2001 available

*  Donal wrote "New Generation" for the "Living" album.  It has proven to be their most controversial song and is often associated with the troubles in Northern Ireland.
